


Childbirth Class (Condensed Classes - Saturday/Sunday)
Class Dates:
Aug. 16 & 17, 2025 for babies due Sept. & Oct.
Sept. 6 & 7, 2025 for babies due late Sept & Oct.
Oct. 25 & 26, 2025 for babies due Nov. & Dec.
Dec. 20 & 21, 2025 for babies due Jan. & Feb.
8 hours of instruction time over 2 days:
Covers 80% of full series content.
Condensed student workbook.
Video links sent prior to class to prepare couples.
Small Class size - 6 Couples.
Unlimited phone and email support before, during and after birth.
Doula services available upon request for a minimal additional fee.

Class Description:
Birth Anatomy and Physiology – understand the science of what’s happening at each stage along the way.
Labour Comfort Measures – practical holistic techniques that involve the physical, mental and emotional aspects to minimize and manage pain.
Partner Roles and Responsibilities – understand and become aware of their importance; how to help using hands on tools such as relaxation and pressure points to name a few.
Interventions and Medications– recognize when things don’t follow the norm such as induction or c-sections your knowledge will still allow you to make informed decisions. Also, medication options available to you with pros and cons.
Labour Rehearsal – multiple opportunities thru out classes to practice handling contractions and different labour positions along with a full 30 min rehearsal to put it all together.
Postpartum – recovery after birth and the following number of weeks along with transitioning into parenthood.
Breastfeeding – proper latching, knowing they are getting enough and handling issues that may arise.
Newborn Care – caring for your little one over the first few months, including bathing and swaddling.
